Seaview’s rail pods are perfect for sailboats of all sizes. They’re designed to protect your electronics while making them easily accessible and keeping them at a constant viewing position even as you tack or jibe. Install the pod at the perfect angle on your steering pedestal and insert an appropriately sized device. This Sail Pod comes with one high polished stainless steel clamp and three different rubber bushings so that the pod can universally clamp onto 1″, 1 1/8″ and 1 1/4″ rails. 

Key Features

• Instruments: The pod isn’t made for any one specific instrument, so you are able to customize your command station to best suit your boat. This Seaview single marine instrument pod has a useable face of 16 15/16″ x 12 1/4″. This Sail Pod can also use up to two optional accessory pods (SKU# 14908131, sold separately). 
• Installation: The stainless steel clamp requires 3″ of straight rail (no radius) to mount securely. It can be installed at any angle and can be cut to fit any screen with  maximum cut out area of 16″ x 11 1/4″.
• Water-Ready: Security screws are used to hold each Seaview Sail Pod together along with a watertight gasket  to prevent water from entering the pod. It’s also designed with GORE-TEX ventilation so that hot air can escape without allowing water inside.
